The cell service provided by telecom giant Rogers Communications is down from Newfoundland to British Columbia.
Both voice and data are not working or working intermittently according to reports from across the country.
Rogers phones are not working in Vancouver, Kelowna, Calgary, Saskatoon, Regina, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Toronto, Montreal, St. John’s and Halifax among other areas.
Service went down around 6:30 ET.
Some customers say text messaging is also down. Some are also reporting their Fido phones are not working.
Initially the company only confirmed outages in Ontario and Quebec.
Rogers’ website is also down.
A spokesperson for the company could not be immediately reached, however they have issued a statement.
“Our wireless customers are currently experiencing voice service interruptions. Data services do not appear to be affected. We apologize for the inconvenience and we are working to resolve it as quickly as possible.”
